The steps below will guide you through how to set up your Scarlett with FL Studio:

You can change the buffer size from the ASIO Control Panel, which you can open by clicking 'Show ASIO Panel'. Go to the mixer window ('View' 'Mixer') and click on the master channel. Make sure the output is set to Focusrite (in this case we are using Output 1 and 2). Focusrite Control is the driver software required by most Scarlett interfaces. In order to connect the Scarlett interface to your computer, its driver software must first be installed. 1. Once you have installed the driver go to your computer's 'Control Panel' > 'Sound' option. In the 'Playback' and 'Recording' tabs, make sure the Focusrite/Scarlett option is selected as the default device. If it isn't already, right click it and select 'Set as Default Device'.

Focusrite Controls

1. 1) Ensure you have the latest version of Focusrite Control from the Downloads page or from your Focusrite.com account. 2) Ensure that Focusrite Control has been installed to the main C: drive of your computer. Installing Focusrite Control to a secondary drive can cause issues. If in doubt, please reinstall Focusrite Control.
2. To open Focusrite Control: Installing Focusrite Control on your computer will place an FC icon on the dock or desktop. Click the icon to launch Focusrite Control. Please Note: Although this software has been tested internally, beta software may still contain some defects. Please only install this software if you are interested in testing the new features introduced in this update, and if you are willing to report the results (and any defects) back to us. We typically advise against installing any beta updates if you're looking for mature versions of our software, or if you're using your Focusrite product on a time-critical project. This version gives the option to install both the Clarett Thunderbolt driver (version 4.25.0.335) and the Scarlett USB driver (version 4.14.0.158).

Known issues:

- Glitchy audio/enumeration issues when using Thunderbolt 3 connections via an adapter. Please note that Thunderbolt 3 connectivity is NOT yet supported.

- Cubase 8.5 crashes after the save when closing down a project with MIDI tracks.
